Is it good? Absolutely.
But they missed the chance to make it perfect.

GLOOOOORIOUS
you think they're going for this kind of greek god feel for this entrance theme and all's going well, they started it off with a piano for god's sake this shit is going to be classical!
Until those bastards break into a guitar solo.
A guitar solo.
Why?
It killed the theme for me, everything it had going for it just died right there.
The second guitar riff is alright, it's just rhythm guitar, it fits much better, but WHY ON EARTH DID THEY STICK THAT MISERABLE SOLO IN THERE? Where's the consistency they had with Nakamura, Enzo and Cass, Finn BalóOoOohr, AJ Styles? This is just sad.
GLOOOORIOUS
I WON'T GIVE IN
I WON'T GIVE IN
UNTIL MISPLACED GUITAR SOLOS ARE GONE FROM THIS EARTH
AND I'M VICTORIOUS
Other than that, great theme, good work with the pitch change, fits the character, great work from CFO$. I really enjoy how it's just a single verse but it truly does sound glorious and keeps hammering this same idea in your head every time you see Roode. Needless to say, his TNA stuff pales in comparison.
Quick notes:
Nakamura: at first I didn't like his theme much for the electronic part of it, but it's a great melody, it grows on you and fits his style perfectly. Also what great recording of that nice deep tone at first, really impacts you. YeahOh.
AJ Styles: The lyrics are hilarious! I personally will always prefer Get Ready to Fly because I think it fits him way more than some gangsta rap but whatever, it works, it's catchy, great for a theme. Specially the beginning before the explosion for his entrance, really nice.
Austin Aries: It's not a bad theme in anyway, but it doesn't help him stand out in the roster. It would be great for a well established wrestler that everyone was hyped for but with Aries' desperate need for build up in NXT he needs Roode level impact. Quite sad, I like Aries.
I've missed a few episodes of NXT so I won't comment on some of the new talent even though I've watched a few.
WWE has a music yt channel now with quality audio, isn't that amazing? I wonder why they took this long to make it, music brings in a shit ton of ad revenue.
