This is the band that can't be left off, a sum of everything I've ever enjoyed in music.
Joey Eppard plays an ovation with his fingers using a mix of flamenco and bass techniques, the kind of skill that gives you the ability to break someone's nose with a flick, and always does something different with the vocals.
Billy Riker got B.C. Rich guitars for free (that makes it okay even though b.c. rich has the worst quality on the market and are just for showing off) and isn't the best lead guitar ever but is just enough to fill around Joey. He used to wear a jedi vest to the concerts, that's an extra point.
Daniel something is the bass player and no one cares about him.
Chris Gartmann plays the main drums and makes funny faces so you can laugh when you pause the video on him, he also does some of the backing vocals.
Joe Stote is a bald guy and to me the coolest in the band, plays percussion and keyboard. You'd think it would be overkill to have two drummers but it just adds to the awesomeness of 3 like detailing a drawing, something extra that makes a difference. He also has a drum fight with Gartmann right before Amaze Disgrace.
It's an Experimental Progressive Rock Band that came all the way from pop rock to heavy metal
The first album Paint by Number is the simplest and funkiest, not as much of the finger technique was used but it's still very enjoyable.

After that Half Life and Summercamp Nightmare came and with them 3's most famous and loved song Amaze Disgrace, the last song in every concert when Joey breaks the strings and swings the ovation around.
Then Wake Pig came, undoubtedly the best album. Every single track is amazing(extra tracks from the re-release are excluded on this, I don't like One Way Town for some reason). The themes for the songs are wars and aliens but it doesn't take anything away from the lyrics.
And the best way to enjoy it is watching the full concert and actually seeing all that is happening in the songs.

3 gets signed by Metal Blade Records, Wake Pig is re-released and a new album comes out under the new label.
The End is Begun goes from a more classic hard rock sound to the more common heavy metal. Even when forcing a new style the quality remains and the theme is very close to Wake Pig's.

Revisions came out, but it was just, yeah, revisions of old songs. 2 years later we got The Ghost You Gave to Me, maybe their least awesome album since Summercamp Nightmares but it has some great tracks in it such as Numbers and It's Alive. Numbers has this technique that sounds like a bass but it's the ovation with some slap to it.
The incredible acoustic technique with a well written structure and great lyrics and good experimentation make this band a
